NATCHEZ — A small crowd of family and friends gathered Thursday at the Natchez Bluff to remember the lives of Jamesia “Becky” Brown and Cameron “Cam” Jones.

The young couple, who were parents of a son who was five months old at the time of their murder, were shot dead on May 1, 2020, at approximately 1:50 a.m. at the Kenny Graves Apartment Complex north of Natchez while sitting in a vehicle.

Their son, Cayden, now 6, ran around the area in front of the bandshell playing with balloons and other children and stopped to hug the life-size cutout of his mother and father.
