More than 134,000 students begin Libya’s secondary school certificate examinations

More than 134,000 students across Libya began the secondary school certificate examinations on Sunday, with 134,256 candidates sitting for the exams at 935 examination centers across 134 municipalities.

The Ministry of Education said all organizational and logistical preparations had been completed to ensure the exams proceed smoothly and provide students with an appropriate testing environment.

The ministry also issued examination regulations for students inside Libya and at overseas examination centers, stressing the importance of compliance. Students are prohibited from bringing textbooks, study notes, mobile phones, recording devices, or any other items deemed capable of facilitating cheating into examination halls.

Supervisory committees have been authorized to conduct inspections to ensure that no prohibited materials are brought into exam halls.
