Mano Menezes’ side beat Brazil’s rivals in the Copa


Brazil’s second opponent at the 2026 World Cup, Haiti was beaten by Peru, the team coached by Mano Menezes, in a friendly with an eye on the tournament.

La Blanquirroja secured a 2-1 comeback win at Nu Stadium, Inter Miami’s home ground, this Friday (5).

Sébastien Migné lined Haiti up with: Placide, Arcus, Ricardo Adé, Delcroix and Expérience; Jean Jacques, Deedson, Providence, Bellegarde; Isidor and Pierrot.

Mano, meanwhile, went with the “Brazilian duo” of Carillo (Corinthians) and Noriega (Grêmio) in the starting XI. The lineup was: Gallese, Sonne, Garcés, Barco and López; Noriega, Carillo, Cabrera, Jairo Velez and Concha; Jhonny Vidales.

Isidor, the Sunderland striker, put Haiti ahead in the 16th minute. It was scored from the only shot on target by Sébastien Migné’s side.
