Libya, Tunisia discuss closer bilateral ties

Presidential Council head, Mohamed Menfi, and Tunisian President Kais Saied have discussed strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The talks took place during a phone call initiated by President Saied on Wednesday, according to the Presidential Council.

The two leaders discussed ways to broaden cooperation and coordination, as well as a number of issues related to Libya-Tunisia relations.

They also stressed the importance of continued consultation on regional and international developments of mutual concern, with the aim of bringing their positions closer and supporting efforts to promote security and stability in the region.
