Libya, Niger sign military cooperation MoU
Libya’s Ministry of Defense has signed a memorandum of understanding on military cooperation with Niger to strengthen coordination in security and defense matters.
The agreement was signed during talks between Deputy Defense Minister Abdulsalam Al-Zoubi and Nigerien Prime Minister Ali Lamine Zeine, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Salem Al-Zadma and the visiting Nigerien delegation.
Discussions covered border security, combating illegal migration, and enhancing joint efforts to address regional security challenges, agreeing to update communication channels and activate the Libyan-Nigerien High Joint Committee to support broader bilateral cooperation.
