Libya collects 2.3 billion dinars in taxes and royalties from oil companies in July

The Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Government of National Unity announced on Saturday the collection of 2.327 billion dinars in taxes and royalties from concession and partnership contract companies during July 2026, based on production and exports in June 2026.

The ministry explained in a statement that the value of taxes collected from crude oil companies amounted to approximately 2.196 billion dinars, while oil royalties totaled approximately 130.6 million dinars during the same period.

The revenues collected from natural gas were zero during July, indicating that the total amounts recorded came solely from crude oil activity, the statement added.
