Libya claims 78–74 friendly win over Cape Verde in Cairo
Libya’s national basketball team earned a 78–74 victory over Cape Verde in a friendly match in Cairo on Wednesday, as part of its preparations for the second African qualification window for the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Qatar.
The team is currently training in Egypt before heading to Cameroon for the upcoming qualifiers. Earlier in the camp, Libya faced Egypt in another friendly, losing 106–64.
