Acting Foreign Minister Taher Al-Baour met on Thursday with China’s Ambassador to Libya, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The two sides explored ways to deepen cooperation in the areas of economy, investment, infrastructure, energy, trade, education, healthcare, and technology, discussing encouraging Chinese companies to resume projects in Libya and identifying new investment opportunities to support the country’s development and boost economic cooperation.
The meeting also included discussions on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, with both sides emphasizing the importance of continued coordination and consultation in international forums to promote security, stability, and development.
