The ruling Unity Party chairman, Luther Tarpeh, said a special committee will compile a list of “non-performing” cabinet members who are failing to support the party and government’s agenda. This list will then be submitted to the president. Tarpeh said as the government approaches the midpoint of its tenure, a cabinet reshuffle is “long overdue.”
He added that while the party will commend progress where it is recorded, it will also speak out against any setbacks.
