Reggae Boy Leon Bailey is expected to leave Aston Villa for Greek Club Olympiacos, according to international reports.

The move from the English Premier League club is said to be permanent, with a contract until June 2029. It follows Bailey’s loans from Villa to various clubs, including Roma.

Bailey had several rough, injury-plagued seasons with Villa and did not feature at all for the club this season.

An $8 million Hull City move had been in the works but fell through before the close of the EPL transfer window. Several other clubs had shown interest in the 29-year-old, including Saudi-based Al Ittihad and Diriyah Club.

With over 100 titles across national, regional and youth competitions, Olympiacos is the most successful Greek Club on record and consistently dominates its league.

The club’s home ground is the 33,000-capacity Karaiskakis Stadium, in Piraeus near Athens.

Reports are that Bailey is travelling to Athens for medical testing.
