Kuwait, Senegal discuss investment cooperation

KUWAIT: Minister of Finance Dr Yaqoub Al-Refai met Thursday with Senegalese Minister Attaché to the Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning and Budget official Bassirou Sarr to discuss opportunities for development and investment cooperation between the two countries.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Finance said the meeting reviewed a number of financial and economic issues and explored potential areas of cooperation during the coming period, in light of the distinguished relations between Kuwait and Senegal.

The meeting was held as part of Sarr’s official visit to Kuwait and was attended by Senegal’s Ambassador to Kuwait Hassan Sogo, along with a number of officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Senegalese Embassy in Kuwait. The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in areas that serve the interests of both friendly countries. — KUNA
