Kuath comes back to Lleida

Hiopos Forca Lleida (Liga Endesa) added 27-year-old American power forward Kur Kuath (208cm-100kg-1998, college: Marquette) to their roster for the 2026-27 season. Kuath, who also holds a South Sudanese passport, is making a comeback to Lleida, where he previously played. He was the top rebounder at Gran Canaria in Liga Endesa, although his team was relegated to Primera FEB. In 29 Liga Endesa games, he averaged 6.0ppg, 2.9rpg, and 1.6bpg. He also played 9 games in the Basketball Champions League, averaging 7.7ppg, 4.9rpg, and 1.1bpg.

During the 2024-25 season, Kuath played for Hamburg Towers (BBL) in the German league, where the team competed in three different competitions. He played 32 games in the German BBL, averaging 11.4ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.2apg, and 1.6bpg. Kuath has been a regular member of the South Sudan
Kuath has also played professionally in Germany and Greece (Lavrio).
He won the NJCAA D1 District I championship title in 2018 and was voted the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Defensive Player of the Year in 2024.
Kuath graduated from Marquette University in 2022 and is entering his fifth season as a professional player. He has also played for The University of Oklahoma, Salt Lake Community College, and Western Wyoming Community College.
