King Oyo’s relationship with the church – NTV Uganda

The Church in Tooro is mourning the late King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV not only as a devout Anglican, but also as a monarch who championed morality, social transformation and community welfare throughout his 31-year reign. As the kingdom prepares for a new monarch following King Oyo’s burial, slated for September 12, the Church is calling for unity and loyalty to the traditional succession process that the Babiito Clan will oversee.
