Press Release

Cairo: Jameel Finance Egypt announced the successful completion of a securitized bond issuance with a total value of EGP 318 million, marking a strategic step that supports the company’s expansion plans and strengthens its financing capabilities, enabling it to continue meeting customers’ needs and offering a diverse range of financing solutions.

The issuance brought together a number of leading financial institutions and advisors. Suez Canal Bank acted as custodian, while Arab Bank acted as the subscription receiving bank. Dreny & Partners served as legal advisor to the issuance, while Baker Tilly Mohamed Hilal and Waheed Abdel Ghaffar acted as auditor. Middle East Rating & Investors Service (MERIS) assigned the credit ratings for the issuance, while Al Ahly Pharos acted as underwriter.

This issuance forms part of Jameel Finance Egypt’s strategy to diversify its funding sources and enhance its financial flexibility. The issuance was structured across two tranches. The first tranche amounted to EGP 153 million, with a 12-month maturity, and received a P1 (sf) credit rating. The second tranche amounted to EGP 165 million, with a 24-month maturity, and received an A (sf) credit rating. Both tranches were rated by Middle East Rating & Investors Service (MERIS).

The structure reflects a diversified maturity profile and an appropriate balance between risks and returns, enhancing the issuance’s appeal to institutional investors.

The transaction represents the third issuance under Jameel Finance Egypt’s three-year securitization bond program, which has a total value of EGP 4 billion. It follows the first issuance completed in May 2025, valued at EGP 500 million, and the second issuance completed in February 2026, valued at EGP 470 million.

Siraj Badqail, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Jameel Finance Egypt “expressed his pride in completing the issuance, noting that its success reflects the strength of Jameel Finance Egypt’s financial position as well as the confidence the company has earned among its partners and investors”.

Badqail added:

“This issuance marks another important step in executing our growth strategy and strengthening our presence in the Egyptian market. It also reinforces our commitment to advancing financial inclusion in line with Egypt Vision 2030 by providing a diverse range of financing solutions that contribute to supporting economic activity and achieving sustainable development.”
