Hossam Essadak Completes Move to Saudi Side Al Fateh

Meknes – Morocco’s Hossam Essadak has officially joined Saudi Pro League side Al Fateh on a season-long loan from Union Touarga.

The 21-year-old completed his medical in Al-Ahsa before finalizing a season-long move.

“Al Fateh management has officially announced the completion of signing Moroccan midfielder Hossam Essadak on a one-season loan from Moroccan club Union Touarga to represent the first football team,” the Saudi club announced on Sunday.

“This move comes as part of the club management’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the first team with top-tier talent, leveraging the player’s high technical capabilities and physical attributes to provide a strong addition to Al-Namoodhaji’s midfield for the upcoming season,” they added.

A product of the Mohammed VI Football Academy, Essadak made his professional debut with Union Touarga in 2024.

The youth international shone on the continental stage with Morocco’s U20 side during the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations before playing a key role in the Young Atlas Lions’ historic U20 World Cup triumph. 

Essadak was originally set to continue his career in Europe, with news emerging in late July that an agreement was reached with Lausanne-Sport for a transfer fee around €600,000.

However, the move ultimately collapsed before completion,eventually leading the young playmaker to Saudi Arabia instead.

Now turning his attention to Al Fateh, the young Moroccan playmaker will aim to build on his strong performances for Union Touarga and national youth setups as he takes the next step in his professional career.
