On Friday, July 31, 2026, for their third and final Group A match in the final phase of the 2026 CONCACAF U-20 Champions League, our Grenadiers faced El Salvador’s “Cuscatlecos” at the Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla, Mexico. Haiti secured their second victory in this tournament, defeating El Salvador 2-1, thus qualifying for the quarterfinals.

Summary : Clavens Exantus opened the scoring for Haiti in the 22nd minute [1-0], capitalizing on a through ball from Emerson Laissé.
Haiti were reduced to 10 men in the 56th minute after Shaun Brun was sent off for a foul in the penalty area, giving El Salvador a penalty. Christian Coreas converted the penalty, equalizing for El Salvador [1-1].
Jacquet Da-Benz, who came on in the 46th minute, restored Haiti’s lead [2-1] in the 62nd minute, heading home a rebound from the center of the penalty area.

If the Grenadiers win this match, they will qualify for the U-20 World Cup in 2027.
