Government encourages refugees to consider returning home

Uganda is operating at a financial loss in hosting refugees, according to Minister for Disaster Preparedness and Refugees Sam Engola, following funding cuts and the withdrawal of support from some major donors. Minister Engola says the government is now seeking support from other donors, while encouraging refugees who can safely return home to consider doing so.
