Foreign Ministry condemns drone attack on East-West Pipeline in Saudi Arabia

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity has condemned the drone attack targeting the East-West pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the resulting casualties and material damage.

In a statement, the Ministry described the attack as a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, reaffirming Libya’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The Ministry emphasized its rejection of attacks on oil facilities and energy transport infrastructure, deeming such actions a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and safety of energy supplies and heightens regional tensions.
