Foreign Minister Gedion Holds Talks with Cameroonian Counterpart – ENA English

Addis Ababa, July 30, 2026 (ENA) —Foreign Minister Gedion Timotheos held talks with the Minister of External Relations of Cameroon, Lejeune Mbella Mbella, on bilateral and continental issues today.

As the countries prepare to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, they discussed ways to strengthen economic cooperation beyond their existing political and diplomatic ties.

Cameroon’s Minister of External Relations, Lejeune Mbella Mbella, congratulated Ethiopia on the successful hosting of the 49th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union. He also expressed his support and appreciation for Ethiopia’s decision aimed at strengthening the African Union’s financial capacity.
