TS Galaxy players coming out of the tunnel at FNB Stadium during their recent match against Kaizer Chiefs
TS Galaxy are expected to appoint Bosnian tactician Admir Adzem as their new head coach during the upcoming FIFA international break, with the club understood to be putting the final arrangements in place.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, the Rockets had identified the 53-year-old as their preferred candidate to take over the senior team following the departure of Bernard Parker.

Now, close sources have indicated to the Siya crew that the club is expected to conclude the process and officially bring Adzem on board during the upcoming FIFA break.
Galaxy have continued to assess their situation in recent weeks, with Esau Mtsweni holding the fort as the interim coach while the club works towards securing a permanent appointment.
The Rockets’ latest results have added to the urgency around the coaching situation. Following their 3-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates, Galaxy were also eliminated from the Carling Knockout Cup after suffering another 3-0 loss, this time against Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday.
With the Betway Premiership fixtures originally scheduled for November 4 postponed due to the local government elections in South Africa, this weekend’s matches will be the last before the FIFA break.
This provides Galaxy with a window to complete the appointment, with Adzem expected to take over the reins as the club looks to bring greater stability to its technical team and improve its fortunes in the league.

The appointment would also see the Mpumalanga-based outfit continue its association with Bosnian coaches, following previous spells under Sead Ramovic and Adnan Beganovic.
Meanwhile, Mtsweni is understood to be expected to return to his role with the club’s DStv Diski Challenge side once the new head coach takes charge of the senior team.
