Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati held a phone call on Saturday with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss the latest regional developments and bilateral relations. The call came in the context of ongoing close coordination and consultation between the two countries.
During the phone call, the two foreign ministers underscored the depth of the longstanding fraternal ties and strong bilateral relations binding Egypt and the UAE, reaffirming their shared commitment to further advancing co-operation across various fields in a way that serves the interests and aspirations of both peoples.
The discussion also touched on recent developments in the US–Iran negotiations, as part of broader consultations on key regional issues.
