MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Miami Beach announced on Thursday that there are four drop-off locations accepting aid for the victims of the 7.4-magnitude earthquake in western Colombia.
Four Miami Beach Fire Rescue stations will be collecting donations from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Friday to Aug. 31 at 1051 Jefferson Ave., 2300 Pine Tree Drive, 5303 Collins Ave., and 6880 Indian Creek Drive.
The city welcomes donations of new camping gear, hygiene supplies, first-aid kits, tarps, and canned food.
City employees plan to deliver the donations to Miami-Dade County-based nonprofit Global Empowerment Mission’s warehouse in Doral.
