CRICKET : Uganda’s Baby Cranes secure dominant win

Uganda’s Under-19 cricket team, the Baby Cranes, defeated hosts Rwanda by five wickets at Gahanga International Stadium in Kigali to finish the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup Africa Division 2 qualifier unbeaten.

Uganda successfully chased down Rwanda’s 89 runs, reaching the target in 19.1 overs to seal their fifth consecutive victory. The youthful team has now secured promotion back to Division 1 of the Africa qualifiers.
