Caribbean markets have also played a major role in Guyana’s tourism growth. Arrivals from Caribbean countries increased by 17.8% during the first quarter of 2026, showing stronger regional travel demand.

Countries such as Barbados, Jamaica, Saint Lucia and other Caribbean destinations are becoming increasingly connected with Guyana through regional travel networks. The growth of intra-Caribbean tourism is creating new opportunities for multi-destination travel experiences, regional partnerships and stronger tourism exchanges.
