Marcell Coetzee insists the Vodacom Bulls will not underestimate injury-hit Munster ahead of Saturday’s URC quarter-final at Loftus.
The Irish club travels to Pretoria without a host of first-choice players, including props Tadhg Beirne, Oli Jager and Michael Milne, locks Edwin Edogbo and Jean Kleyn, flyhalf Jack Crowley, centre Tom Farrell and wing Calvin Nash.

But Coetzee believes the 2022-23 URC champions remain a dangerous knockout outfit regardless of personnel.
“I don’t think that much really,” the Bulls captain said when asked about how Munster’s injuries will affect them.
“They’ve got a system that works for them and they’ve been playing knockout rugby for the last few weeks, so I think they’re pretty settled whichever squad they bring.”
MARCELL: Bulls already in knockout mode
Coetzee warned that Munster’s ability to stay alive in contests and disrupt opposition rhythm makes them one of the toughest teams in the competition.
“Irish sides always stay in the fight until the last minute,” he said. “Munster, in particular, find ways to break you down and disrupt your rhythm.”

The Bulls skipper said his side’s focus remains firmly on execution and accuracy as they chase a place in the URC semi-finals.
“For us, it’s about being mentally prepared for what’s coming. We’ve got a set plan that we want to implement on the day and it’s all about accuracy and finding our rhythm and them not disrupting that.
“It’s all about rising to the occasion and enjoying the moment.”
