BTS’s ‘Arirang’ Concerts in Argentina and Brazil Set for Cinema Screenings
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The upcoming “Arirang” tour concert by the K-pop group BTS in Argentina and Brazil will be broadcast live to movie theaters worldwide.
As reported by ANTARA, BigHit Music announced that BTS’s third concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 24 and their second concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on October 30 will be screened in approximately 3,800 movie theaters worldwide, according to reports by Yonhap news agency and The Korea Herald on Friday, September 11.
According to the agency, the broadcast time will be adjusted to each country’s time zone. BTS fans in Asia, Australia, and several other regions will watch the broadcast, scheduled for one to two days after the concert.
BTS is scheduled to kick off the Latin American leg of their “Arirang” world tour on October 2 in Bogota, Colombia. The South American concert series will continue to Lima, Peru, and Santiago, Chile—in addition to the previously mentioned cities—comprising a total of 14 shows across the continent.
BTS’s ongoing “Arirang” tour has become the largest tour ever undertaken by a K-pop artist. The North American leg drew 1.92 million concertgoers across 31 shows.
