The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation has constituted an interim committee saddled with the organization of beach football and futsal leagues in the country.
This was part of the decision reached at it’s Executive Committee meeting held Saturday, July, 11, 2026 at the Best Western Plus Hotel, Asaba, the Delta state.
According to a communique issued after the meeting the board is composed of Mr. Mahmud Hadejia (Chairman); Mr Dele Gbajumo (Member); Hon. Nkopuye Ukpe (Member);l and Mr. Abdul-Nasir Adamu Senchi (Member).
Others members are ; Prof. Victor Madubuiko (Member); Alhaji. Mohammed Bukar Alau (Member); Miss Onome Ebi (Member) and Mr. Saraki Rasheed Oladimeji will serve as Chief Executive Officer, while the Chief Operating Officer will be appointed by the General Secretary.
The Committee also expressed deep appreciation to the Federal Government, through the National Sports Commission, for the special intervention fund that is being committed to the Nigeria Premier Football League to shore up the league’s profile, boost its commercial value and engineer a robust football economy for Nigeria.
While noting the promise by the Government to extend similar intervention to the Nigeria Women Football League, the Committee passionately appealed to the Government, through the NSC, to extend support to the Nigeria National League (NNL) and the Nigeria Nation-Wide League One (NLO) as well.
