Bandits block Niger road, open fire on commercial vehicle – Daily Trust

Bandits, in the early hours of Wednesday, blocked the Mokwa-New Bussa Road, injuring two travellers.

Residents told Daily Trust that the attackers barricaded the road at Rafin Zaki between Ibbi and Fallegi in Mashegu Local Government Area of Niger State and operated for hours.

Aliyu Alhassan, a resident, told our correspondent that attackers opened fire on a commercial vehicle caught in the ambush, leaving two passengers with gunshot injuries.
