Bandits abduct 90-year-old village head in Niger – Daily Trust

Bandits have abducted a 90-year-old village head, Mallam Abubakar Lafiya, in Ka’ada, Dekara District of Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
Daily Trust gathered that the bandits stormed his residence at about 6pm on Saturday and whisked him away after firing several shots.
A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the victim was the biological father of the current District Head of Dekara.
