Alvaro Arbeloa is reportedly facing an uncertain future at Fulham, with the Spaniard given just two matches to save his job after a disastrous start to the Premier League season.
According to The Sun, Fulham’s board have set the manager a two-game deadline, with positive results essential if he is to remain in charge.

Hull City are next up on Saturday, October 17, before Fulham face Coventry in another crucial fixture. Arbeloa has yet to win any of his first six Premier League matches this season, leaving the London club bottom of the table.
Ipswich defeat increases pressure on Arbeloa
The pressure intensified following Fulham’s 2-1 defeat against Ipswich Town, where they surrendered their lead before conceding late in the match.
The result left Fulham two points from safety, increasing concerns about their prospects under Arbeloa.
However, results have not been the only source of frustration. The Spaniard has also faced criticism over his substitutions, with Fulham conceding goals in the final 15 minutes of four of their six league matches.
Arbeloa took charge last summer after Marco Silva departed to coach Portuguese side Benfica, having refused to renew his contract.
The former Real Madrid defender now faces the challenge of reversing Fulham’s fortunes before the club’s hierarchy makes a decision on his position.
Arbeloa not afraid of being sacked
Despite the mounting speculation over his future, Arbeloa has insisted that he is not concerned about losing his job, focusing instead on the club’s difficult situation.
“I never worry about my position, and I feel no fear. You cannot be a coach if you feel fear,” Arbeloa said as per the above-mentioned publication.

The Fulham manager also stressed that collecting points must take priority over concerns about his own future.
“It is not about my position; it is about Fulham’s situation, and that is what matters most. It is true that we have only played six matches, but we need the points.”
With Hull City and Coventry approaching, Arbeloa has little time to turn things around. Fulham need results quickly to climb away from the relegation zone, and failure to deliver could leave the board considering a managerial change just months into his tenure.
