Today, as we celebrate Workers’ Day on Friday, 1 May 2026, we honour the hands that build the industry and the voices that champion change, and mark the occasion with this announcement of the official opening of Expressions of Interest for the 2026 gsport Awards campaign.
At gsport, we are dedicated to putting money in the pockets of women and creating a workspace where passion meets professional growth.
gsport Founder, Kass Naidoo says: “We receive daily communication from young women who want to host the awards or be part of the team that puts the event together. It’s become an annual tradition where every May we go public to allow interested parties to put their hands up.”
“We have seen many go from gsport to greater heights, and we hope the 21st gsport Awards provides yet another platform for women in sport to gain employment, experience, and build a credible work CV.”
As we celebrate #20YearsOfgsport, we aren’t just looking for a crew; we’re looking for the architects of our next decade.

How It All Goes Down
We are doing things differently this year: The application link will be shared exclusively via the weekly gsport Newsletter, and over the four weeks that follow, each weekly edition will carry a unique code.
Include as many codes as you can collect when you apply: the more you submit, the higher your place in the queue. Miss a week? Apply anyway. Every expression of interest will be considered, but those who’ve been with us throughout will be considered first.
The spotlight is shifting. Make sure you’re in the room – with the Newsletter in hand, when it lands. Sign up now, and don’t miss the call.
