Angola passes new cybersecurity law

Angola’s National Assembly has passed a new Cybersecurity Law aimed at enhancing the security and resilience of the country’s digital space, reported Angop. The law seeks to facilitate digital transformation across the public administration, the economy, and broader society while establishing measures to protect essential networks, critical infrastructure, and information systems from cyber threats while upholding fundamental rights.
