Al-Swehly set up Esperance clash after beating KVZ
Libyan side Al-Swehly reached the second round of the CAF Champions League after beating Zanzibar’s KVZ 3-0 in the second leg of the first preliminary round.
The match was played in Zanzibar, with Al-Swehly advancing 4-0 on aggregate after a 1-0 home win in the first leg at Misrata Stadium.
They will face Tunisia’s Esperance in the second round in what will be a major test against one of Africa’s leading clubs.
