Agriculture Ministry reviews measures to combat desert locust threat
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources has held a meeting with officials and specialists from the National Committee for Combating Desert Locusts to assess preparations to address the threat of desert locusts.
The meeting reviewed the field teams’ operational plan and discussed measures to strengthen rapid response capabilities and ensure effective pest control, stressing the importance of providing the National Committee with the necessary resources and support to carry out its work.
