Yemen Bans Israeli Ship Transit in the Red Sea
WANA (Jun 08) – The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces announced a complete ban on maritime navigation for the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea, declaring: “We consider all movements of the enemy, from the moment this statement is issued, a military target for our armed forces.”
Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced the full entry of Yemen and Ansar Allah into the fight against the Israeli regime in the Red Sea and the occupied territories.
The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson announced that, to confront American and Israeli aggression across Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen; oppose the Israeli project for ‘Greater Israel’; break the unjust blockade imposed on their people; and respond to Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Iran, and Gaza, they are directly entering the battle, based on the principle of ‘Unity of Fronts’ and confronting enemies.
He added: “In this regard, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a missile attack against sensitive targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) region. The missile strikes achieved their targets with precision, and the Armed Forces emphasize the following:
1- We announce a complete and comprehensive ban on Israeli maritime navigation in the Red Sea, and we consider all movements of the enemy, from the moment this statement is issued, legitimate military targets for our armed forces.
2- We emphasize that we will respond to escalation with escalation, and our military operations will intensify based on field and battlefield developments, in coordination with the axis of jihad and resistance.
3- We affirm the right of our free nation and the Islamic Ummah to confront American-Israeli aggression.”
Yahya Saree emphasized: “We will not remain silent in the face of the unjust blockade imposed on our people and the people of the axis of jihad and resistance in Palestine, Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq. All efforts of the enemy will fail, God willing, and our operations will continue as long as the aggression and blockade against us and the axis of jihad and resistance continue.”
