Information reaching Soccer Laduma suggests former PSL goalkeeper Greg Etafia and coach Simo Dladla are expected to form part of Mngqithi’s backroom staff ahead of the new season.
A source close to developments at the Tanzanian champions told the Siya crew that Etafia is believed to have been lined up as the club’s goalkeeping coach, while Dladla is expected to serve as one of Mngqithi’s assistant coaches.
“Greg has joined as the goalkeeping coach, while Simo will be one of the assistant coaches working under coach Manqoba Mngqithi,” the source told Soccer Laduma.
Should the appointments be finalised, Mngqithi’s technical team would feature several familiar faces from South African football.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Kagisho Dikgacoi is understood to be part of the coaching staff, while performance analyst Yardaan Valodia has also been linked with a move to Yanga after working alongside Mngqithi at Golden Arrows.
