Wildberries Warehouse Damaged in Latest Ukrainian Drone Strike as Russia Reports 600+ UAVs Downed
Debris from a Ukrainian drone damaged a Wildberries logistics warehouse in Russia’s Tver region following a large-scale overnight drone attack on Thursday, Aug. 6, regional Governor Vitaly Korolyov said.
According to Meduza, citing Korolyov, the warehouse facade sustained minor damage. Wildberries had not commented on the reported strike at the time of publication.

Korolyov said drone debris also damaged several utility buildings in the Kalininsky district. He claimed there were no casualties.
Independent Russian outlet Astra reported that drone strikes sparked a fire at private homes in the village of Palkino near Tver.
On Aug. 4, Korolyov also reported that drone debris had damaged a wall of a Wildberries warehouse in the settlement of Emmaus. He did not clarify whether it was the same facility hit in Thursday’s attack.
Moscow claims to intercept 605 drones
Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 605 Ukrainian drones overnight over Russian regions, occupied Crimea, and the Azov and Black seas. Kyiv has not commented on the claim.
Monitoring channels also reported a fire at an oil refinery in Russia’s Yaroslavl region following the drone attack.
Wildberries warehouses increasingly targeted
According to Meduza, Ukrainian drones have increasingly targeted Wildberries logistics centers in recent weeks.
The outlet reported that since mid-July, more than 20 company warehouses have been struck during Ukrainian long-range drone attacks.

Ukraine has significantly expanded its campaign against Russia’s oil infrastructure this year, targeting refineries that supply fuel for both civilian consumption and the Russian military.
The reported strike comes after a series of Ukrainian drone attacks on Wildberries logistics facilities across Russia.
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, a Ukrainian drone strike set fire to one of the retailer’s largest logistics warehouses in Russia’s Tula region, forcing the facility to suspend operations.
According to independent Russian outlet Agentstvo, the warehouse became the eighth of Wildberries’ 15 largest logistics centers to go offline following Ukrainian attacks since the start of the campaign targeting the company’s infrastructure.
The outlet said seven other major Wildberries hubs — in Elektrostal, Vladimir, Krasnodar, Nevinnomyssk, Samara, Leningrad and Penza regions — have yet to resume operations after previous strikes. It also cited the Ukrainian Telegram channel Supernova+, which reported a possible drone strike on another Wildberries warehouse in Zelenodolsk, Tatarstan, although the facility reportedly did not catch fire.
Last week, Reuters reported that the Russian government was considering financial support measures for Wildberries after repeated drone attacks damaged several of its logistics centers. Options under discussion reportedly included state-backed loans, tax relief and subsidies for the company and affected sellers.
Ukrainian officials have previously said Wildberries was targeted because of its alleged role in supplying the Russian military and its financial ties to state-controlled lender VTB. The company has denied any involvement in military logistics.
