Is Geese frontman Cameron Winter a new love interest in Olivia Rodrigo‘s life? All signs point to… well, that’s a big TBD.
The musician was first linked to British actor Louis Partridge in late 2023 and the two were frequently spotted together looking very much in love until late 2025, but it looks like the couple may have parted ways. (Neither party has confirmed a breakup, so take that with a grain of salt!) But lately, Rodrigo has been seen hanging out with fellow musician Cameron Winter, of the buzzy rock band Geese, leading some to believe she’s moved on with someone new.
Of course, this is all total speculation for now; hanging out with somebody doesn’t automatically mean you’re dating. But if you’re curious about Winter, his career, and how he and Rodrigo may have met, here’s what you need to know.
Who is Cameron Winter?
Cameron Winter is a musician and the frontman of the indie rock band Geese. Winter grew up in Brooklyn and has creative DNA running through his blood; his mom is a writer and his father is a producer. Winter attended the Brooklyn Friends School. He sings and plays the guitar and piano/keyboard.
In addition, Winter has recorded some solo material, including a 2024 album called Heavy Metal. Winter said he recorded some of that album at various Guitar Center locations, which is pretty funny if true; he also said in a Reddit AMA that he recorded some in the back of a taxi. In late 2025, he played a very sold-out solo show at Carnegie Hall.

What’s the deal with Geese?
If you’re into discovering indie music, you’ve probably either heard of Geese or count yourself as a fan. As we stated above, Geese is a group of high school friends who teamed up to start a band back in 2016. They released their first EP in 2018 but didn’t sign with a label until 2020; the group released an album called Projector in 2021 and were featured in the New York Times. The buzz really picked up a few years later, and their fourth album, Getting Killed, which came out in fall 2025, was a critical darling. The band has been compared to the Velvet Underground, Radiohead, Pavement, and the Strokes. (Oh, and there’s also a jam band called Goose. The two are not related.) Gen Z fans have even called Geese “our Nirvana.”
