The Egyptian national team began its preparations with a 1-0 victory over Russia in a friendly match held at Cairo Stadium, before traveling to the United States to continue its training program.
The Egypt-Brazil match is scheduled to kick off at six pm Ohio time – one am Cairo time – on June 7th.
Following the match, the national team will travel to Spokane, which will host their main training camp during the World Cup, scheduled to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
Egypt will compete in Group G, alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.
