Uzbek delegation visits Future of Egypt projects in New Delta

A high-level Uzbek delegation, led by First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Ilhom Narkulov, visited several projects of the Future of Egypt Authority for Sustainable Development in the New Delta to learn about its experience in implementing major development projects and explore opportunities for cooperation.

The delegation included Uzbek Ambassador to Cairo Mansurbek Kilichev, Navoi Region Governor Narmat Tursunov, and a number of government officials, economic and investment representatives, and members of the Uzbek business community.

The tour covered agricultural and livestock production projects, as well as the Naba water-lifting station. The delegation was briefed on the projects’ infrastructure, production systems and modern technologies.

The Uzbek delegation praised the work and operating systems, as well as the various stages of production.

The visit also included discussions on cooperation opportunities in agriculture, livestock production and related industries. The talks aim to promote the exchange of expertise and strengthen economic and investment cooperation between Egypt and Uzbekistan.
