UWA urges Ugandans to boost domestic tourism

Dr. James Musinguzi, Executive Director of Uganda Wildlife Authority, has urged Ugandans to take part in domestic travel and tourism, saying the sector cannot rely only on foreign visitors. He noted that conservation and domestic tourism are key drivers of economic transformation and job creation.

The authority has partnered with the Lions Club of Kampala East to implement various conservation efforts.
