UC San Diego Hosts Inaugural U.S.-India Forum, Bringing Global Leaders to La Jolla

The UC San Diego 21st Century India Center hosted the inaugural U.S.-India Forum this spring, convening leading voices from government, industry, healthcare and academia to explore new frameworks for partnership, innovation and strategic investment between two of the world’s most consequential democracies.

The two-day forum, “Bridging Innovation and Impact,” was organized in partnership with Indiaspora, the Motwani Jadeja Family Foundation and the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF). Discussions spanned four critical domains: AI and technology; economic growth and finance; health and medicine; and defense and geopolitics.

“The U.S.-India partnership is among the most strategic relationships of the century, grounded in shared commitments to democracy, innovation, regional stability and human potential,” said Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla. “UC San Diego is uniquely positioned to deepen this partnership, bringing together world-class strengths in science, engineering and healthcare as well as deep expertise in policy and global collaboration — and we are committed to moving from dialogue to action.”
