U.S. Citizens Town Hall Meeting
The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Dakar has the pleasure to invite you to a town hall meeting for U.S. citizens and adult guardians of U.S. citizen minors.
The events will take place on the following dates:
– THIES: Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the American Corner, Boulevard Nginthe.
– SALY: Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 15: 00 pm. to 17:00 pm. at Royal Hotel, Saly.
– POPENGUINE: Friday September 18, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Dakar Academy South.
Please register by sending an email to DakarACSTownHall@state.gov by Monday, September 14, [EC1] [AS2] 2026. Include your full name and date of birth, U.S. passport number, and email address. Non-citizen spouses or parents/guardians of a U.S. citizen must also register at DakarACSTownHall@state.gov.
During the Town Hall, we will be accepting applications for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. Please bring your DS-11 or DS-82 application, E-CRBA confirmation page, two passport photos, and exact change (Please note that preferred payment option is Pay.gov)to the town hall if you would like to take advantage of this service. We can also notarize the DS-3053 parental consent forms for free of charge.
The passport application fees are:
DS-11 for first time adult (16 and over) applicants and lost or stolen passports: $165 or 99 000 CFA
DS-11 for children under the age of 16: $135 or 81 000 CFA
DS-82 for adult passport renewal applications: $130 or 78 000 CFA
