Tunisia reiterates support for Libya’s political dialogue
Tunisia has reaffirmed its backing for a comprehensive political solution in Libya, Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Nafti said following talks with the UN’s special representative for Libya, Hanna Tetteh.
In a statement shared after the meeting, Nafti stressed Tunisia’s support for an inclusive Libyan-led dialogue aimed at restoring stability.
He also highlighted the importance of trilateral coordination between neighbouring countries as an effective framework to strengthen Libya’s unity and security.
The comments come amid ongoing international efforts to revive the stalled political process in Libya, with regional actors increasingly emphasising cooperation to support UN-led mediation.
