TGS lands 4D streamer contract offshore Angola

Oslo-listed seismic data specialist TGS has been awarded a high-end 4D streamer contract offshore Angola.

The program is scheduled to commence acquisition in early July 2026, and the contract is approximately eight months long.

The deal improves the company’s strategic position in the Africa region and provides it with visibility for one vessel well into the first quarter of 2027.

This follows two contracts in the Norwegian North Sea that TGS announced last week. The first deal is for 4D streamer work using a Ramform Titan-class vessel. It will start in late July and last approximately 45 days. The second is an OBN contract, with mobilisation starting in June and a duration of approximately 25 days.
