Telkom Indonesia launches Indonesia-Papua New Guinea submarine cable link

Telkom Indonesia has launched the Pukpuk submarine cable system, establishing a direct cross-border connection between Indonesia and Papua New Guinea aimed at improving connectivity in Eastern Indonesia and expanding regional network routes. The system, operated through its international unit Telin, was inaugurated in Jayapura, Papua, and connects to networks in Papua New Guinea via infrastructure operated by PNG DataCo.
