Tcherno Jamanca named in Guinea-Bissau’s preliminary squad

Tcherno Jamanca, a 17-year-old forward regarded as one of FC Porto’s promising talents, is included in the extended list of 46 players called up by Guinea-Bissau coach Emiliano Té for the CAN 2027 qualifying matches.

Although he is also eligible to represent Senegal, all signs indicate that the youngster will accept the Guinea-Bissau call-up if he is included in the final squad for the September and October matches.

This season, Jamanca has scored one goal in three appearances for the Dragons’ under-19 side and recently renewed his contract with the blue-and-white club.
