Takala, Orlando discuss latest political developments in Libya

The High Council of State head Mohammed Takala met with EU Ambassador to Libya Nicola Orlando in Tripoli on Monday to discuss the latest political developments in Libya.

According to the council’s media office, the meeting addressed ways to support efforts to advance the political settlement process and strengthen coordination between the High Council of State and the European Union in addressing current challenges.

The discussions also focused on the importance of unifying state institutions and intensifying efforts to bridge differences among Libya’s political parties, with the aim of promoting stability and paving the way for the country to hold the elections sought by the Libyan people.
