A delegation from Syria’s Foreign Ministry has visited the Syrian Embassy in Tripoli to review final preparations for its reopening, including infrastructure improvements and technical and digital upgrades.
The ministry said a technical team is completing the remaining logistical and operational requirements, with the embassy expected to resume operations once all preparations are finalized. An official reopening date will be announced at a later stage.
Syrian authorities raised the national flag over the embassy building in Tripoli in August 2025, signaling the start of efforts to restore diplomatic operations after more than 13 years of closure.
