JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) — A partial vacate order has been issued for a home in Queens after an SUV overturned and crashed into it on Wednesday, a scenario the homeowners say has happened several times before.
NewsCopter 7 was over the scene at 177-29 115th Ave., a one-story home in the Jamaica section, around 3:20 p.m.
FDNY rescued the person in the car.
FDNY officials said the vehicle overturned and struck the side of a house.
The resident of the damaged home, Dahriel Gonzalez, was relaxing on his couch at the time of the crash.
“The next thing I know I’m looking outside, I’m seeing this guy… the guy in the car has his hand sticking out the window,” Gonzalez said.
There was a hole in Gonzalez’s house.
“I called 911 right away, then I called my dad,” said Gonzalez, who told his dad something hit the house again.
The homeowners say this was the fourth time their home fell victim to reckless driving. The first time, they say a driver took out their backyard fence. The second time, they say a lady drove her car up onto the front lawn and into the corner of the house. The third time, someone else took out their front yard fence, but they say this last time has been the worst yet and so they are begging drivers to stop.

“It was loud. Sent stuff all over. Stuff in the air. Even my phone was knocked straight out of my hand,” Gonzalez said.
The driver had to be cut out of his Jeep by first responders, who then took them to Elmhurst Hospital.
Their condition was not immediately clear.
“I couldn’t hear what he was saying but I was glad at least it looked like he was alive so that was a good sign,” Gonzalez said.
The city did add speed bumps to 115th Avenue, but residents really want a second stop sign to prevent drivers from speeding as they turn onto 177th Place after some have crashed right into the corner house.
It’s not clear what caused this driver to lose control. The damage from the crash forced the city to issue a partial vacate order for Gonzalez and his family.
“I’m like here we go again,” Gonzalez said.
